Before You Apply to Lighthouse Learning
Please Read Carefully
We are so grateful you’re here.
Choosing the right educational environment for your child is a big decision, and we truly honor the time, thought, and intention behind every application we receive. At Lighthouse Learning Microschool, our goal is to partner with families in a way that sets every child—and our entire community—up for success.
To do that well, we take a whole-child approach when considering applicants.
Our Approach
Lighthouse Learning is a small, structured, and highly relational environment. We are designed to support students through small-group learning, hands-on experiences, and a collaborative classroom culture.
As part of our application process, we consider both:
Academic readiness
A student’s ability to engage successfully in a group setting
In some cases, we may recommend a trial day visit to ensure the best fit for your child.

A Thoughtful Fit Matters
Lighthouse Learning is intentionally designed for students who can thrive in a group environment with standard classroom supports.
While we serve a wide range of learners, our model is not designed to provide intensive one-to-one therapeutic or highly individualized support throughout the school day.
We share this with transparency and care so that families can make a confident, informed decision about whether Lighthouse is the right fit.
Our Commitment
Our highest priority is to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where students:
Feel known and valued
Grow academically and personally
Build confidence and character
Experience success
