2-Day STREAM Enrichment Program
(Thursday-Friday)
Where learning extends beyond the classroom, and students discover who they are becoming. At Lighthouse Learning, learning doesn’t stop at the core academics.
Our Thursday–Friday STREAM Enrichment Program is intentionally designed to extend, apply, and deepen student learning through hands-on, experiential, and interest-driven opportunities.
These days look different from traditional classroom instruction by design. STREAM allows students to explore, create, collaborate, and discover strengths beyond the core academic block while continuing to build essential skills.
STREAM serves all students, is differentiated by grade level, and operates through a rotational classroom model, allowing students to learn from multiple teachers and in specialized learning spaces.
Science
Students receive grade-level instruction on Thursdays and apply learning through labs, experiments, and investigations on Fridays.
Talent Development & Trades
Thursdays focus on exposure to a wide range of entrepreneurship, trades, hobbies, and interest areas, helping students better understand how they learn, what they enjoy, and where their strengths lie. Fridays focus on theatre and performance to build confidence, communication, and collaboration.
Reading, Writing & Arithmetic
Students receive grade-level instruction on Thursdays and apply learning through labs, experiments, and investigations on Fridays.
Engage the Body & Mind
Students participate in movement-based learning, wellness education, nutrition awareness, and mindset development to support physical, emotional, and mental health.
Art & Design
Art & Design at Lighthouse Learning is a hands-on, project-based experience where students learn by creating. Rather than isolated art activities, students work through design challenges, visual storytelling, and creative problem-solving connected to themes and real-world inspiration.
Music (Performance-Based & Project-Driven)
Music at Lighthouse Learning blends music theory, technique, creativity, and performance into a meaningful, project-based experience. Students actively engage with music by learning rhythms, melodies, instruments, and vocal performance while collaborating as musicians. Units culminate in Music Concert Performances, where students showcase what they’ve learned through live performances for families and the school community—celebrating growth, effort, and artistic expression.

These trips are intentionally selected to:
Enrich weekly learning themes
